Position Description: DIGIT is seeking a Identity and Directory Management Services (IDMS) Engineer with expertise with Okta that will be focused on Task Management and artifact build ups to support GSA’s migration to the Okta platform. This individual will be responsible for documentation, test cases and managing the board for the team. When there is a slowdown in documentation needs, then the Engineer will support the Okta integration.
Requirements
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position shall perform the following (to include but not limited to) activities:
1. Project Oversight:
- Lead project oversight activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the migration project forward.
- Monitor project progress and address any roadblocks promptly.
2. Documentation and Artifacts:
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including migration plans, system configurations, and process workflows.
- Develop test cases and documentation for quality assurance purposes.
- Ensure that all documentation complies with industry standards and best practices.
3. Requirements Gathering:
- Work closely with customers to extract and understand their requirements for the migration project.
- Translate customer needs into technical specifications and actionable tasks.
- Collaborate with customers to identify application migration needs and ensure a smooth transition from SecureAuth to Okta.
4. Okta Integration:
- Provide technical expertise in integrating Okta solutions, including identity and access management, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement Okta solutions effectively.
5. Task Management:
- Manage the task board for the project team, prioritizing tasks and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Coordinate and assign tasks to team members, ensuring efficient project execution.
CONTRACT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Public Trust Clearance
- ITILv4 Foundation Training and ITILv4 Foundation Certification, may be obtained within 120 days after
- hire.
- Proven experience working with Okta and a deep understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts.
- Strong technical documentation skills with the ability to create detailed and clear artifacts.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Project management experience and the ability to manage tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with various two-factor authentication (2FA) methods.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.
CONTRACT DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Okta certified.
- Previous experience with creating network and IDMS architecture diagrams.
- Strong knowledge of the different identity and access management (IAM) concepts, technologies and authentication protocols.
- Intimately familiar with IAM related protocols such as SAML, SPML, XACML, SCIM, OAuth, OIDC, OpenID and REST APIs, and other security interfaces.
- Strong experience with Directories, SSO, Federation, Delegated administration, API gateways, SOA services.
- Active Directory including but not limited to:
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Azure Active Directory
- NetIQ DRA
- NetIQ Group Policy Administrator (GPA)
