As a Backend Software Engineer, you’ll work with a team of talented engineers to bring robust and reliable services to Metafy users. You’ll help maintain features at Metafy and bring new ones to life. Your contribution will help Metafy reach millions of users looking to be a part of a strong gaming community.

Responsibilities

• Write dependable backend service code
• Participate in all aspects of the product development lifecycle, including code reviews, and system architecture and design
• Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and execute system changes
• Identify and mitigate project risks effectively
• Identify and resolve stability and scalability issues in a time-sensitive environment

Requirements

What You'll Bring

• 4 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer, with focus on backend development and architecture using Typescript and Node.js.
• Experience in building fast, high-throughput API endpoints to handle significant request volumes.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Passion for building a rich and innovative user experience.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with multi-functional teams and partners.
• A love for gaming: You're a gamer at heart. You understand the thrill of victory, the sting of defeat, and the joy of a well-played game.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Ruby for backend development
