About the Client
We are an established real estate agency that has been operating in Sydney for over 13 years. We provide a full range of property management services including buying, selling and renting residential and commercial properties. Our team is expanding rapidly, and we need an additional property management assistant to help us deliver exceptional service to our clients. You'll be working with an experienced team in a fast-paced environment. We are specifically looking for someone who demonstrates strong initiative and a proactive attitude, someone who can complete tasks efficiently and on time without needing to be chased for updates.
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Property Management Assistant to support our growing property management operations. In this role, you will work closely with property managers and tenants to ensure properties are well-maintained, tasks are completed promptly, and all regulations are followed. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Australian real estate sector while working with a supportive and professional team.
We want a candidate who:
- Provides regular updates on each task to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Over-communicates to keep the client fully informed.
- Takes ownership of their work and ensures all tasks are completed accurately.
- Is a go-getter who actively asks for additional work once their assigned tasks are done.
- Has experience using PropertyMe or Console.
⚠️ Important: We will not accept candidates with part-time commitments. We are only considering someone who can commit to a full-time role.
- Assist property managers with managing residential and commercial properties
- Handle tenant and owner inquiries and communications
- Coordinate with tenants, owners, and maintenance staff
- Support leasing process tasks like preparing agreements and documentation
- Assist with rent collection, invoice processing and payments
- Schedule property inspections and prepare reports
- Provide administrative support like scheduling, documentation, and correspondence
Requirements
- At least 2+ years of experience in a property management role
- Familiarity with property management software and tools
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills
