On TikTok Mobile Design Systems team, we work cross-functionally with engineers, designers and product managers to create unified UI frameworks and provide standard user interaction effects for our engineers to build better user facing products.



You'll actively develop and upgrade UI libraries and components, ensuring exceptional design and performance. Empower product teams with premier tools, fostering efficient product development and iteration. Uphold exemplary standards and practices in UI design while building a vibrant community to tackle design challenges and share advanced techniques.



You will Explore innovative opportunities by experimenting with new technologies and platforms, devising strategic adaptation plans. Be at the forefront of pioneering designs and establishing new standards in human-machine interaction. Your expertise will drive our design excellence and elevate our products to new heights.



You will also have opportunities to solve intricate UI challenges, build variants of projects to improve existing UI components experience, and introduce industry leading new User Interface features. You will also have opportunities to build UI foundations and tools for engineers across TikTok.



Responsibilities:



- Develop and Maintain Shared UI Framework: Design, develop, optimize, and maintain a shared UI framework that provides unified UI components across multiple iOS applications.

- Enhance User Interface Components: Create and optimize UI components, transitions, interactions, and animations to ensure a seamless user experience.

- Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with design, product, and other engineering teams to implement and fine-tune user interface elements.

- Code Review and Best Practices: Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold best practices to ensure high-quality code.

- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring that the UI framework is highly efficient and scalable.

- Documentation and Training: Document frameworks, guidelines, and best practices, and provide training and support to other team members.

- Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in iOS development, particularly in UI/UX, and apply this knowledge to continually improve the shared UI framework.
