Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Control - Weekdays in Newnan, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will be responsible for monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you maintain a visible and professional demeanor. You will conduct regular patrols of the premises, interact with employees and visitors, and respond to any security-related situations that may arise. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors in a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents.
• Provide assistance and customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by answering questions and providing directions as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related concerns and report any irregularities.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or hazards according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment for all personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
