Maintenance Technician

Banyan Living is a leading company in the real estate sector that excels in the ownership and management of luxurious apartment communities in the greater Cleveland, Akron, and Columbus areas. We are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to enhance our team and support our mission of providing exceptional living conditions for our residents.

In this role, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of property maintenance tasks, ensuring that our apartments and community spaces are well-maintained and meet safety standards. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting routine inspections and performing preventive maintenance on buildings and grounds.
• Addressing resident requests for repairs and maintenance in a timely and professional manner.
• Executing repair tasks related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general maintenance.
• Preparing vacant units for new residents, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
• Maintaining an accurate inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
• Assisting with landscaping and upkeep of outdoor areas.
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies regarding safety and maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency repairs as required.
