Job Description

Coffman Engineers is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in mechanical system design, analysis, and engineering support for a variety of projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers, gaining practical knowledge and industry insights.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Enrolled as a full-time student in an engineering program at a nationally recognized, accredited college (required)
• Students from The University of Texas at Austin are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (preferred)
• Three or more years of required courses completed towards a mechanical engineering degree.
• Prior internship, project experience, or relevant coursework in HVAC, fire protection, or mechanical systems is a plus.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with AutoCAD and/or REVIT (preferred)
• Previous construction and/or customer service experience (preferred)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
