Senior Analyst - Counterintelligence, Corporate Security

About the role
The primary focus of this role is to work as part of our Insider Threat and Counterintelligence team protecting across an array of projects including Third Party Risk Management, and present findings to senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making.
Core Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive all source intelligence research on current and prospective Consolidated Edison vendors to identify, assess, and mitigate counterintelligence, insider threat, and supply chain risks.
- Monitor global security developments and analyze their potential impacts on Consolidated Edisons operations, personnel, infrastructure, and vendors.
- Deliver timely, actionable intelligence to support strategic, operational, and risk-based decision making across Consolidated Edison.
- Produce intelligence products, including threat assessments, executive briefings, analytical reports, and presentations tailored for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Detect, analyze, and assess indicators of counterintelligence and insider threats, and provide analytical support to related inquiries and investigations.
- Evaluate incoming intelligence and reporting to identify gaps, define intelligence requirements, and guide collection priorities.
- Conduct research, review, and coordination of policies, procedures, and governance related to counterintelligence and insider threat programs.
- Maintain effective liaison relationships with public and private sector partners, including analytic, investigative, collection, and operational entities, to enhance situational awareness and risk mitigation.
- Conduct comprehensive all source intelligence research on current and prospective Consolidated Edison vendors to identify, assess, and mitigate counterintelligence, insider threat, and supply chain risks.
- Master's Degree and 6 years full time relevant work experience in intelligence, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, law enforcement, national security, or cyber security or
- Bachelor's Degree and 7 years full time relevant work experience in intelligence, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, law enforcement, national security, or cyber security.
- A strong background in two, or more, of the following fields: intelligence cycle, intelligence collection requirements, protective intelligence, executive protection, critical infrastructure protection, investigations, threat management, or cyber security. Required
- Understanding of crisis/security response operations and supporting technologies and processes. Required
- Prior experience as an intelligence analyst, or similar position, with a private company, military, intelligence agency, and/or law enforcement agency. Required
- Possess and maintain eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level or higher within one year of employment. Required
- Experience conducting Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) analysis. Required
- Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and TEAMS applications. Required
- Ability to compile data into presentations and reports for executive management. Required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Required
- Must have strong analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills. Required
- Basic knowledge of operating systems, networking, IT hardware, and virtualized environments. Preferred
- Have familiarity with DFIR tools for preservation and analysis. Preferred
- Experience working with companies, law enforcement, military, and/or security services outside the United States. Preferred
- Understanding of behavior-based analytical functions. Preferred
- Understanding of supply chain functions. Preferred
- Understanding of enterprise risk management or Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements. Preferred
- Driver's License Required
- Other: Insider Threat Certification - Analyst, Program Manager, Vulnerability Assessor, Program Evaluator, Counter-Insider Threat Professional, or similar. Preferred
- Other: GIAC (or equivalent) Certification - Open Source Intelligence, Security Essentials, Information Security Professional, or similar. Preferred
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
