What you'll do...
What you'll doAs a Principal Data Analyst on the Consumer & Sensory Insights team, you will:
- Lead research initiatives that bring the member voice into every stage of product development—from need identification to launch and post-launch evaluation.
- Own insights generation for the Pantry and Consumables categories, delivering compelling, data-driven stories to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Design and execute both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including advanced techniques like conjoint analysis, max diff, and consumer tracking.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions.
- Collaborate closely with product development, brand, and merchandising teams to ensure member-centric innovation.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with autonomy and accountability.
- Champion the use of AI and emerging technologies in research and insights.
- Experience: 10+ years in market research, consumer insights, behavioral psychology, or a related field focused on understanding consumer behavior.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to translate broad business objectives into actionable research plans and insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with a talent for storytelling through data.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization. Ability to interpret complex statistical outputs.
- Research Expertise: Hands-on experience with advanced survey techniques and qualitative research methods.
- Collaboration: Strong relationship-building skills and comfort working in a highly interactive, people-driven environment.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage a high volume of projects with ownership and independence.
