Role and Responsibilities:

  • Implement training programs tailored to production processes and safety protocols under the supervision of the production training coordinator(s).
  • Conduct training sessions and facilitate hands-on and classroom training sessions for newly hired employees
  • Assess training needs by collaborating with production supervisors and/or training coordinators to identify training needs and develop/improve appropriate programs
  • Monitor training effectiveness by evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
  • Maintain training records by keeping accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and employee progress on a daily basis.
  • Promote safety culture and encourage a culture of safety by promoting best practices and conducting safety training.
  • Continuously update and improve training materials and methods based on feedback and industry standards (continuous improvement)
  • Work collaboratively with the HRD onboarding team to ensure a smooth transition into training including scheduling, logistics, and communication.
  • Effectively allocate different groups into the appropriate training to prepare them for their role
  • Over communicate with trainees stakeholders, managers on what training is planned and completed based on their needs
  • Facilitate live trainings for new hires, existing employees and any other trainings that may be required.
  • Ensure the Learning Management System (LMS) is accurate to ensure we are teaching the latest revision of each course, and ensure Versatility Charts are up to date and accurate
  • Set the expectations of new hires according to SKBA's production standards so they understand safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Maintain a contamination free environment.

Skill and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED degree; Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a production environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, proficiency with training software, ability to assess and address training needs, and strong organizational skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years working in SKBA Production is a plus (Lead experience preferred)
  • Strong presenter with passion to facilitate large groups
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate professionalism including communication, dress, and attitude while modelling the company's core values of integrity, collaboration, and getting it done
  • Background or understanding of adult learning principles and Learning Management System (LMS) is a plus
  • Open to schedule flexibility that will allow for a variety of shifts including weekends.
  • Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
