About the role

The Business Development Manager reports to Business Development Director of Mayo Clinic Global Consulting. The Manager will interact with a variety of internal stakeholders including Mayo Clinic Global Consulting and Corridor leadership and other leaders across the organization, in addition to external business entities and institutions. 

                                             
The Manager will help execute the growth strategy for international business development. They will support the development of consulting proposals, statements of work, pricing models, client pitches, templated service offerings, pipeline reports, and revenue capture. They will participate on multidisciplinary teams to create proposal and contract templates, and then use the templates to help create tailored proposals and statements of work for prospective clients. The Manager will help coordinate hand-offs to the delivery team. They will work with the delivery team and external clients to plan follow on opportunities or additional statements of work. They will support client delivery teams in their efforts to develop high-quality, client-ready deliverables.             

                                   
The Manager may participate in external events to help generate new leads. They will track the consulting pipeline and develop reporting solutions for MCI leadership and internal partners. They will also assist with project management, scheduling, process tracking, document collation, maintenance, and other duties needed related to the work of the department.                                                
 

  • Bachelor’s degree and six years of experience, or master’s degree and two years of experience in business development, business and management consulting, client relationship management, operations, and/or project management.                                                
     
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse backgrounds.                                                 
     
  • Requires strong project management skills, time management skills and the ability to manage several initiatives simultaneously.                                                 
     
  • Must be resourceful and be able to work independently on assigned projects.
