About the role
Responsible for managing client relationships, deliverables and expectations on a project basis. Work closely with respective Account Directors to provide strong leadership and support to teams on specific projects, or workstreams within a larger project. Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a seamless, high-quality service, maximised communications and exceptional client experience, whilst ensuring events are profitable. Project Delivery
Finance & Budget Management
- Work collaboratively with Account Director/Project Director and others to understand the event objectives and provide input into recommended solutions to help the client meet/exceed those objectives
- Making data-driven and informed recommendations for project improvements based on client and customer feedback
- Work alongside the Account Director/Project Director to build and own strong relationships with clients
- Act as the day-to-day project contact for clients, either as main project lead or owner of a workstream within a larger project. Managing and responding to their requests in a timely manner
- Own & manage client call cadences and arrange workstream meetings w/ other members of the team, clients and vendors as needed
- Manage client feedback throughout the project lifecycle, finding solutions for issues and escalating to Account Director/Project Director where required
Project Delivery
- Own and lead the project management for small to medium sized projects (50 – 3000 pax) – from high-touch Executive Forums to end-user conferences
- Own and lead a workstream within a larger sized project (For example, Furniture & Foliage Lead on a 12,000-attendee conference, Venue & Logistics lead on a 3500 pax technical training event etc.)
- Create/provide input into Project Management processes and project documentation such as timelines, project trackers and client handbooks. Ensuring documentation is regularly updated and accurate
- On projects you are leading, provide oversight and guidance to workstreams related to logistics, production, technical production, creative, exhibition, food and beverage
- On projects where you are leading a workstream - such as Venue Management, Security, Temporary Staff, Transportation - creating and maintaining detailed schedules, ensuring timelines are up to date and deadlines met, clear communication with internal and client stakeholders. Manage relevant vendors, ensuring they are delivering to the high standards Nteractive and our clients expect
- Where leading a project, proactively onboard and manage the Nteractive project team ensuring robust project management and meeting cadence
- Ensure timelines and budgets are met and that project team members take ownership of tasks assigned to them
- Ensure project-based decisions are in line with creating a consistent, positive and memorable attendee experience
- Develop/provide input into and seek client approval for contingency plans related to our projects scope of work
- Consistently deliver to high standards in all areas of event delivery
- Be an expert of best practice in hotel/venue and other supplier contract negotiation; scrutinize and manage contracts to ensure commercial viability, value for money and consistent delivery to agreed standards and deadlines
- Champion and seek to continuously improve the Nteractive Project Management Framework and other company processes to ensure efficiency, consistency and compliance
