Schedule - Monday - Friday with possible Saturday's

Hours - 6:15 am until finished

Pay - 22.45/Hr.

Job Description:

• Responsible for learning how to maintain sharp tools to perform their job task correctly.
• Responsible for making precision cuts to carcass that allows for correct further processing to achieve desired carcass yield.
•  Responsible for making precision cuts to carcass to remove hide only to achieve desired carcass yield. 
• Responsible for operating a powered tool to perform job task.
• Average training time may require 2-3 months. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up equipment in preparation for startup.

• Responsible for operating hide puller to remove hide from carcasses while also able to remark hide & re–pull hides as needed while being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.  

• Average training time may require 2-3 months.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

• Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.

• Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.

• Must be willing and able to work cycles in less than 30 seconds. 

• Must be willing and able to work in a wet environment.  

• “Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.”  

• Must have 6 MThs continuous employment in the last 18 months. Preferred candidates will have at least 6 MThs of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture or production experience.
