Description
This is a full-time, direct placement role at Aillet Fenner Jolly and McClelland Inc.

Responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:
• Performing HVAC load calculations using Trace 700 or equivalent
• Selection of HVAC equipment for both hydronic and unitary system types
• Mechanical systems design in accordance with applicable building codes and standards, such as IMC, IPC, IFGC, NFPA, etc.
• Duct sizing and routing of HVAC air distribution and exhaust ventilation systems using Revit MEP
• Sizing, selection, and routing of building water, waste, vent, storm, condensate, natural gas and compressed air piping systems using Revit MEP
• Coordination of HVAC and plumbing systems with structural, civil, electrical and architectural system components
• Generation of project mechanical specifications
• Energy code ComCheck document generation
• Coordination and communication with clients, equipment suppliers and contractors
• Review of contractor submittals
• On-site field investigations of existing conditions as well as verification of new construction compliance with plans and specifications
Requirements
- EPA Universal or Type II certification
- Experience using Trace 700 or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer
