Role and Responsibilities

As a Technical Configuration Administrator (TCA) you will work with a multi-disciplinary team to document and maintain the designs of product and tooling for ASML’s semiconductor lithography and metrology systems.

As a Technical Configuration Administrator, you will:

  • Support the overall Configuration Management process by providing hands-on support for Development and Engineering (D&E) Task Leads (TLs) and Design Engineers
  • Contribute to an effective and efficient change process by taking over administrative tasks from Design Engineers
  • Work as a team with the D&E Task Leads and design engineers along with representatives from multiple disciplines in the project team, also known as the Change Control Board (CCB)
  • In concert with the D&E team members, perform administrative and clerical tasks to document and maintain product and tooling designs
  • Assist Design Engineers in executing complex changes (e.g. making impact analyses, creating documentation structures, ensuring change completeness, setting structure attributes, etc.)
  • Work together with change specialists, logistical coordinators and other stakeholders of the change process
  • Contribute to the plans of the CCB and carry out the necessary actions to complete them
  • Some travel (up to 10%) within the US and internationally can be expected

Education and Experience

To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you will need experience working on high-tech products and with complex processes.

As a Technical Configuration Administrator, you will need:

  • Associate’s Degree in a technical or logistical discipline or equivalent experience
  • A strong background in leading product configuration management efforts, with the ability to take responsibility for the end-to-end engineering change process
  • A background in a high technology field, focused on mechanical, electrical, optical and/or software design and development is desirable
  • People management, project management or similar leadership experience in a technical or logistical field is desirable
  • An understanding of practical configuration management topics and processes (e.g. Engineering Changes, Bills of Materials, Re-Identification, etc.)
  • Experience with various IT tools and systems for product development and the ability to learn new ones quickly
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools (e.g. Teamcenter, SAP, etc.) for product development, production and materials management is preferred
