About the role

Description

HTS is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team on an as needed, PRN basis at our partner senior living facility located in Saint Mary of Woods (Terre Haute). This facility provides a range of services including short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, assisted living, and outpatient services. The PTA will play a crucial role in assisting with coverage needs during vacations and periods of increased caseloads.


Key Responsibilities:

- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for residents.

- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

- Adapt to varying schedules based on facility needs, including weekday and weekend shifts.

Requirements

Applicants must have an active Indiana Physical Therapist Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include graduation from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education-accredited physical therapist assistant education program, subsequent passing of a state-administered national exam, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
