Senior Manager, Business Strategy - Supplier Excellence

What you'll do...

Supplier Excellence is a data driven, results-oriented organization focused on supporting Merchandising, partnering with senior leaders, and the broader Walmart organization to develop strategies, ways of working and solutions that enable Walmart be the supplier’s preferred growth engine. We strive for best-in-class supplier collaboration by delivering shared value with a customer centered approach.

The Sr. Manager Supplier Excellence position will support the development of the supplier relationship management strategy across the enterprise, collaborating with various teams to drive one Walmart voice and helping the teams execute key initiatives. Example of focus areas include supporting the development and execution of best-in-class supplier strategic business planning across Merchandising, to drive growth and serve our Customers with best assortment, price, and experience. This position will also support efforts on supplier communications & change management.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Partner with Merchandising and cross-functional partners to set and track supplier strategy goals and report progress on key strategic focus areas.
• Own and manage decision-making, inform, and execution touchpoints for the Merchandising organization on key supplier strategy initiatives.
• Shape materials and support leadership preparedness for high profile meetings.
• Work collaboratively with business partners to create transparency and clarity on how to execute the strategy and break down barriers to accelerate pace.
• Cultivate an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics.
