Working Student/Intern (f/m/d) Technical Product Validation of Transceivers

About the role

Our Systems and Applications (S&A) department of the Product Line "In-Vehicle Networking" (PL-IVN) forms the interface between research and development of innovative architectures and system technologies in the field of vehicle connectivity. The latest products are developed in close cooperation with our customers. Creativity is our strength, customer satisfaction our mission. In a group of 20 motivated engineers, we develop solutions for the vehicles of tomorrow. We are looking for a working student/intern to support with the following responsibilities:


Your Tasks:

  • Validation of transceivers regarding electromagnetic compatibility in the EMC lab

  • Maintenance/extension of the software as well as the test setups in the EMC lab

  • If necessary, PCB development for test setups

  • If necessary, EMC simulation of the test PCBs

  • Creation of work documentation and test reports in English

Minimum requirements:

  • Ongoing studies in electrical engineering, information technology, computer science

  • Basic knowledge in operating laboratory devices (oscilloscopes, signal generators)

  • Good English skills

  • Team player, independent and goal-oriented

  • Quick comprehension


Desirable, but not required:

  • Advanced knowledge of laboratory devices, especially oscilloscopes, signal generators

  • Programming experience in C, C++

  • Basic knowledge in PCB design

Working time: ~18 hrs/week as working student, 35 hrs/week as intern (please note that we can only offer mandatory internships required by your University)
