  • Full Time - Monday - Friday, Days and rotating Saturdays (once trained)

Position Summary:

CorsoCare Pharmacy is a growing business providing Pharmacy Services to residents in our Story Point, Independence Village and Leisure Living communities throughout Michigan. A Certified Pharmacy Technician will process and fill prescriptions in a closed-door pharmacy for residents while working under the direction of a pharmacist. This position requires excellent customer service, high attention to detail and dependability in order to meet the needs of our residents.

Required Experience:

  • Active Pharmacy technician license in the state of Michigan
  • Successful completion of pharmacy technician program
  • Proven experience as pharmacy technician
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent inventory control practices
  • Ability to remain organized in high volume production
  • Parata/TCGRx packaging experience desired, or willingness to learn
  • Blister packing and heat sealer experience preferred
  • High attention to detail and safety best practices
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Computer skills including prescription processing software

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate (preferred experience with Framework Software)
  • Resolve issues when they arise (e.g., rejected insurance claims)
  • Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
