HR GENERALIST - Bilingual in Spanish
The HR Generalist role is responsible for providing HR services to employees within their business unit to help drive the business unit goals. Reporting to the HR Manager Business Partner, responsibilities include supporting the HR Function through training, onboarding, offboarding, tier I employee relations issues, HR program administration, and policy interpretation and application.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop positive working relationships through on-site and floor presence with local management and employees to influence effective employment practices.
- Support staffing and onboarding needs, in coordination with Talent Acquisition. This may include candidate screening, scheduling, participating in job fairs, and onboarding of new employees.
- Assists Corporate Payroll with weekly/bi-weekly payroll execution, processes employment data change requests, and updates and generate various reports in HRIS
- Tier I employee relations support. Escalates matters to site HR Manager HR Business Partner for final recommendation.
- Assist with intake and documentation of employee relations issues and resolutions.
- Support a strong employee offboarding experience, including exit interviews and tracking.
- Assist with the performance review process, including communications and tracking completion.
- Participates in the development and deployment of employee facing communication plans and materials.
- Works with the REV Ambassador Program (RAP) to help assist in employee engagement and culture events/activities.
- Assists with the intake of workers’ compensation claim process to include entering the injured workers demographic information in vendor portal.
- Complete assigned special projects by meeting timetables and schedules; conduct research; develop and organize information; fulfill transactions.
- Support the implementation of HR programs, processes, and procedures originating from COE’s or other HR leadership areas.
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant.
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bilingual in Spanish is required.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels within the organization.
- Must be trustworthy with highly confidential information and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all levels of the organization.
- Must have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance
