The Senior Advisor for Procurement Technology and Enterprise Modernization with the Department of General Services is a chance to shape important improvements that support statewide services. Examples of duties
This role focuses on guiding large-scale improvements to procurement systems, business processes, and enterprise technology. It supports strategic modernization across the Department of General Services and the Commonwealth. As a Senior Advisor for Procurement Technology and Enterprise Modernization, you will perform the following duties:
- Strategic Guidance: Provide expert advice to support modernization initiatives and operational improvements
- Technology Leadership: Lead the review, planning, and refinement of procurement technologies and enterprise systems
- Process Improvement: Evaluate policies and workflows to identify areas for increased efficiency and standardization
- Project Coordination: Direct high-priority enterprise projects by working with multiple bureaus and agencies to reach shared goals
- Data Advancement: Develop analytics tools and performance measures that strengthen decision-making and accountability
- Change Facilitation: Support organizational change efforts and encourage adoption of new systems and practices

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework:?You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six years of professional experience in administrative management or staff work, three of which must have been in a large public agency; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university supplemented by graduate work in public administration to the level of a Master's Degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must have 2 or more years of experience leading a modernization, reform, or change effort related to procurement, operations, or technology.
- You must have 2 or more years of experience in public procurement or closely related public-sector procurement functions.
- You must have 2 or more years of experience leading, directing, and/or mana
