Foundation Health Partners is seeking a General Cardiologist to join our highly experienced team at Porter Heart & Vascular Center, the only full-time cardiology clinic serving Interior Alaska and the Far North.   

 

The Opportunity:

• Compensation: $500k base salary, wRVU production paid at $100 after 5,000 wRVU. Expected compensation between $700k - $840k. Eligible for an annual $10k physician incentive quality metric bonus.
• Schedule: M-F outpatient clinic. No night call. Weekends & holidays off. 7 weeks ATO and 2 weeks for CME. 
• Patient Panel: Outpatient setting offering patients short and long-term management of heart-related conditions.
• Team: Robust and collaborative cardiovascular team consisting of 3 interventional cardiologists and 4 advanced practice providers.

 

You can expect to:

• Perform and interpret nuclear cardiolite, exercise stress testing, transesophageal echocardiogram, electrical cardioversion, and loop recorder placement.
• Assist with seeing patients in an outpatient clinic setting and interpretation of ECG’s, echocardiogram’s, holter, and event monitors.
