Deal Desk Operations Senior Specialist

You are a detail-oriented, outside-the-box thinker who acts as a liaison between Finance, Sales, Product, Legal Counsel, and our customers. You will use analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and creativity to price new products and facilitate and improve operational deal flow. You will ensure our proposals comply with our company’s governance guidelines, while allowing for flexibility and creativity with our partners in Sales & Service.

What you will do:

• Deliver high level service to our partners in Sales & Service by timely delivering proposals for complex deals and opportunities, ensuring that proposals are approved by appropriate parties, easy to explain to the customer, and meets our company’s and our customers’ business objectives.
• Review and prepare quotes and contract documents to meet customer needs while adhering to our fiduciary responsibility to the company.
• Communicate to stakeholders before, during, throughout, and after the sales motion of individual deals.
• Maintains current knowledge of Bloomberg INDG products, and Bloomberg INDG policies and procedures, to assist and provide support to internal and external customers.
• Partner with our data and analytics team, track all deals being worked on by the Deal Desk, spot trends, similarities, successes, and failures.
• Make recommendations on pricing policy and sales programs based on past successes.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements, support testing, and provide feedback on developments as needed.
• Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

You need to have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business

• 4 years’ experience in business operations, sales operations, or related field

• Demonstrated experience in business systems including Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and SAP

• An ability to analyze data and present the findings in a simple manner

• A customer-first attitude and good communication skills

• An ability to navigate ambiguity, while simultaneously making recommendations to eliminate it
