Job Description

Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Staff SW Engineer (multiple openings) in Austin, TX to: Be responsible for the architecture, design, development, and implementation of software applications. Evaluate and introduce technology tools and processes that enable Visa to develop products and solutions, to embrace business opportunities and/or improve operational efficiency. Develop and implement unified control center and monitoring tools to measure, monitor, and report on platform, data availability, utilization, capacity trend, and overall health metrics. Formulate methods to enable consistent data loading and optimize data operations. Monitor health of platforms, generate performance reports, and monitor and provide continuous improvements. Ensure on-time delivery of projects, production support plans, and knowledge transfer for long-term supportability of upgrades, enhancements, and deployments. Understand usage patterns and workload requirements of new projects. Develop code and mentor junior developers to ensure deliverables are on time, within budget, and with good code quality. Be the key coordinator for working with customers on Anomaly Detection use case clarification, solution design, implementation, and tuning. Lead the team of Anomaly Detection on daily work to ensure availability and reliability of anomaly detection platform and services. Train and guide new team members to become productive in shortest possible time. Position reports to the Austin, Texas office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Staff SW Engineer-related occupation.

SALARY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $139,464 USD to $190,400.00 USD per year. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
