The Digital Engineering Methods, Process & Adoption Software Solution team is on a mission to drive digital transformation to Collins Aerospace. This is the PERFECT position for a Senior level Software Engineer with a strong background in DevSecOps to join a team in creating, deploying and enhancing our Collins Cert DevOps pipeline solution.   

This is an onsite position based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

What You Will Do

• You will lead the design and implementation of new capabilities for our Cert DevOps pipeline.  
• You will optimize existing Cert DevOps pipeline capabilities.  
• You will set-up and own sandbox environments for technology incubation and development.  
• You will use your organizational skills to keep track of everything. 
• You will use your effective communication skills to keep engineering peers, leadership and customers up to date.    
• You will use your problem solving, decision making, and teamwork skills to support the team mission.  

Qualifications You Must Have:  

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
• Practical experience in all aspects/phases the software engineering product lifecycle to include all phases of certification.  
• Experience with DevSecOps. 
• Experience with the following programming languages: C/C++, Ada  
• Experience with: GitLab, Git, CMake, MinGW, LynxOS, Coverity, Artifactory, Docker, Vista.  
• Experience and/or knowledge of scripting languages: Python, Robot, Lava.  
• Experience with networking protocols and IT infrastructure.  
• Experience with Agile development life cycle and best practices.
