Electrical Operations Manager

We are looking to add an Operations leader with experience in Residential and Mix-use Electrical Projects. This Operations Manager will lead a team of residential wiremen and support staff to grow a division. 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Create relationships and alliances with clients, grow the business.
• Estimate electrical work and prepare proposals/presentations.
• Develop value engineering for client value and benefit.
• Produce “red-lined” drawings and scope descriptions to be drafted
• Lead a Team of Wireman to follow quality standards
• Follow up on completion of work and deadlines, roll up to leadership team.
• Engineering and design including electrical layout and final design.
• Facilitate technical discussions with the client to ensure proper engineering data.
• Represent Piper Electric at professional organizations.
• Track material, labor, subcontractor, and rental costs for trends.
• Attending leadership meetings. P&L and project standings.
• Forecast service and projects, prepare and hold accountable for budgets.
• Train and development of the team. Hold accountabilities of KPIs.

EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree desired.
• RW, JW or Masters Certification in the State of Colorado

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 years successful client relations in electrical construction including sales & marketing.
• Minimum 3 years in electrical construction estimating.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role
• Field experience a plus.
• Construction Project Management experience a plus.
• Ownership of an electrical contracting firm a plus.
