Software Engineer / Robotics internship

At Skyways we are building a new form of air transportation. Some people call it the flying car. We believe fully autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles represent a unique opportunity to move things and ultimately people in new, more efficient ways. Responsibilities

• Build a camera tracking system for drones
• - Scope the project with the help of the team, collect requirements
• - Produce a trade study, followed by a design doc for a first version
• - Build the system end-to-end and test it with a test drone
• - Rinse and repeat to improve on the previous version
• Collaborate/communicate with engineering and flight testing
• Stretch: build the backend system to collect videos
• Stretch: integrate with internal log review tool

Requirements

• BSc. or MSc. student in CS, EE, Robotics or Mechatronics
• Experience with robotics and programming
• Curious and willing to learn
• Drive to deliver results
• Must be an awesome and friendly individual
• Bonus points if you have experience with drones, cameras, servos, telemetry
