Job Summary:
The Sr. Associate, Commercial FP&A is highly visible role that would be responsible for financial planning and business partnering within CNS therapeutic area. The Sr. Associate role will support the Associate Director in financial planning for multiple products, including revenue forecasting, expense tracking, and income statement development, and long rang planning.
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams
- Coordinate and develop annual budget, latest forecasts, and long-range plan for each product.
- Analyze revenue drivers such as price, demand, and inventory and prepare commentaries for leadership
- Prepare variance analyses and performance reports with clear narrative insights and recommendations
- Analyze, identify & track operational expenses and ensure they are aligned with financial targets
- Perform operating expense month-end accruals and reconciliations.
- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on monthly financial results to senior management.
- Conduct various ad-hoc analysis including NPV, ROI, price/volume, and Gross to Net reconciliation
Qualifications:
- Minimum BS degree in Finance/Accounting required, MBA preferred.
- 3-5+ years of relevant finance experience, with prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry preferred, specifically within a commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Knowledge of gross-to-net concepts and principles is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively cross-functionally and various stakeholders
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (modeling, pivot tables) and PowerPoint skills are essential. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is highly valued.
- System knowledge of SAP and Essbase a plus
