Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Lead Category Management Specialist - Interiors (Level 5) to join our Supply Chain Contracts, Sourcing, and Category Management – Interiors team in Everett, Washington.
Come be a part of bringing our all Airplanes future Cabin and Cargo Interiors to life! We get to work with exciting categories within the Payloads and Systems of the Cabin and Cargo. As part of the Category Management team, you will have a key role in developing and executing our near- and long-term Supply Chain Architecture for the future. The work within Category Management team is dynamic, requires strong leadership and communication skills, it is interdisciplinary, fast-paced and we are looking for team members who can engage and thrive in this exciting environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages supplier/subcontractor performance and relationships.
Provides business and strategic guidance for critical suppliers, commodities and programs.
Leads the resolution of complex or strategic supply chain issues.
Consults and integrates with engineering and product development for best value technical capability or solutions.
Consults with management and customers to lead the development of future supply base requirements.
Integrates supplier strategies with program needs and supply base capabilities.
Drives the company's cross-functional supply base strategy process.
Evaluates potential proposals and coordinates sourcing proposals.
Ensures external partners are meeting business expectations.
Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
10+ years of experience with project leadership and leading cross-functional teams
10+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Must be willing to travel domestically and/or internationally as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience supporting Supply Chain Procurement/ Sourcing/Contracting and/or Category Management roles
10+ years of experience in Project Management
5+ years of experience in collecting, organizing, synthesizing and analyzing data (e.g. financial, market, customer, competitor, economic and technology analysis)
5+ years of experience supporting or/and preparing supplier financial analysis and Executive briefings
5+ years of experience in Engineering or Industrial or Systems Engineering
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 15 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation:
