Pay Rate:

$100,000 - $130,000

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

The Maintenance Planner at International Paper’s Riegelwood Mill will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of all maintenance in specific departments of the mill. In addition, this position receives and reviews each work order for completeness, validity of the priority, clarity and accuracy of information. The pay level will vary depending upon experience and qualifications.

• Screen each work request for necessity, clarity of intent, completeness, functional location, cost center and equipment availability, and following up as necessary

• Review the work request priority and completion date to ensure they are realistic
• Inform the PMC if the priority and completion date are unattainable within current conditions
• Assure the approved work request is entered into SAP as a work order
• Go to job sites to assess the scope of work and determine the crafts, materials, tools and special equipment to complete the job. As well as stay current on all unplanned work orders
• Plans the job by:
• 1. Preparing a sequence of crafts task to execute the job and estimates the labor (craftspeople x hours) needed by craft for each task
  2. Organizing a list of predetermined material needed to complete the job and orders the material for expeditious delivery
  3. Creating a list of specialized equipment and tools needed to complete the job and arranges for its availability when the job is scheduled to begin
  4. Assuring the pre-job briefing, ZES plan and Task Hazard Reviews are in plan

 

  

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:

• 5 years of maintenance/planning related experience preferred

• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office
