RESPONSIBILITIES

• Architects solutions to complex technical problems using industry best practices
• Leads the development teams to architect solutions and drive continuous improvement
• Maintains a full understanding of all aspects of the production system and the impact of future changes
• Advises the government on the best approach to complex problems
• Documents solutions and project plans in a way which can be implemented by development teams
• Guides development teams through project implementation
• Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Responsible for project completion. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Minimum of 15 years of experience supporting IT projects, including at least 8 years of experience leading complex IT projects and teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline
• 10 years of experience with programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.
• 5 years of experience architecting software solutions based on customer requirements
• 5 years of experience leading technical teams
• 3 years of experience designing and implementing automated build and deployment pipelines and supporting platform
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability

We are seeking Top Secret cleared Software Engineer (SME) to join our team. This team is responsible for providing IT product lifecycle management, technical expertise, and support for the development and operations lifecycle. The team is engaged in the operation and enhancement of over 80 existing IT applications, including several new applications developed annually. Team activities cover information systems operations, information systems development and modernization, and IT security.

The operation of existing applications and new application initiatives are critical to the success of the mission. Additionally, thousands of personnel in the law enforcement, intelligence, legal, and administrative communities use these services on a daily basis to perform mission-critical work. These applications require responsive, effective, and specialized technical expertise to limit disruption to operations.
