BEUMER Group is moving fast on the digital agenda, and we need a skilled and goal-oriented Software Product Architect to help us on our endeavors. BEUMER Group is a global organization, offering innovative intralogistics solutions worldwide. Amongst others, we service airports and parcel service companies with sorting and distribution solutions, ensuring that suitcases and parcels arrive at the hands of their rightful owners – every time.

As our new Software Product Architect, you are responsible for the technical solution of BEUMER’s next generation of innovative supervision and data acquisition software including high-resolution 3D visualizations, micro services, cloud technology and much more. From a feasibility perspective, you define the right products to build in collaboration with the team's UX Designer and our Product Manager, where you are responsible for mapping the business requirements to the technically right solution.
Besides setting the technical direction for the team, you enjoy hands-on development as this is a critical and important part of the role.

One team – one product – one community
You will join a cross-functional team with a mix of frontend, backend, and full-stack developers, a UX designer and a team lead, all eager to welcome you on board. Through self-organization, the team responsibly masters the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and support for operational tasks. Besides taking part in the practical development of the right product, your job is to ensure the team continues to deliver the technically right solution in the right quality and with respect to delivery commitments.

You are expected to take active part in our informal Software Product Architect community of interest – all individual members of different product teams in our department – where you will be the fifth member, and altogether you are jointly responsible for our software product suite.

A natural at software development
Your goal-oriented approach is founded by an inner passion for software architecture and development, a childlike curiosity, and an ability to learn new things, and even though you have a high level of technical expertise, you are always eager to develop your skills.

The ideal candidate will have an academic degree in IT (minimum bachelor’s degree) combined with 4+ years of hands-on experience in software development using some, but not necessarily all, of the following technologies:

• C# .NET
• Unity
• Micro services
• Cloud
• Docker
• K8s

Your technical leadership enables you to drive the technical efforts across the team, and in addition, you motivate, inspire and mentor as you earn the team's trust through your professional and communicative skills. Moreover, you thrive in collaborating with stakeholders across the organization on technical matters regarding "your" product.
