We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Document  Management Solutions Analyst. within our IT Enterprise Content Management  group based in Houston, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with business stakeholders across departments to understand document-centric and content-related needs, pain points, and opportunities.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to content capture, storage, search, workflow, metadata, and retention policies.
  • Configure ECM solutions using tools such as IBM FileNet or other inhouse developed toolset (e.g., Metadata enrichment, application deployment, application integration and others), ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
  • Design and using the existing toolset, implement document types, metadata structures, roles, security models, and workflows tailored to specific department needs.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and reference guides to promote adoption and effective use of deployed solutions.
  • Offer ongoing support, issue resolution, and system enhancements post-deployment to ensure operational continuity and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in regression testing and solution validation during platform upgrades, ensuring configurations remain stable and compliant.
  • Maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and proactively suggest improvements or automation opportunities to enhance efficiency using available content services.
  • Stay current with industry trends and new features across ECM platforms, bringing forward innovative ideas to improve the content management environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field — or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in information technology with business systems analysis and solution deployment role.
  • Good understanding of content management principles, including document lifecycle, metadata, permissions, compliance, and automation is a plus.
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements, use cases, and user stories.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more content management platforms (e.g., IBM FileNet, OpenText) is a plus.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into functional and technical solution components.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — able to build rapport with stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and guide users through change.
  • Familiarity with testing processes and change management related to enterprise applications.
  • Experience supporting business users, conducting training, and managing solution lifecycle through testing, upgrades, and production support.
  • Self-driven and proactive, with a customer-service mindset and a passion for business process improvement.
