About the role

This position is responsible for financial oversight for corporate level results, with emphasis on budgeting, reporting, forecasting, analysis and benchmarking. The Financial Reporting Manager partners corporate department leaders to ensure timely and accurate financial/management reporting. This role analyzes results and provides leadership teams with guidance and recommendations around key business decisions and opportunities. This role contributes to a culture of continuous improvement and productivity through a focus on metrics and data driven results.

The Role: 

  • Performs financial analysis for roughly 15-25 corporate departments to evaluate past financial performance, project future financial performance, and identify opportunities to create value. Provide consultation and guidance to department heads on key financial issues and decisions resulting from analysis. Elements of analysis may include: 
  • Monthly department financial statements 
  • Projections / Forecasts 
  • Developing annual budgets 
  • Key Performance Indicators 
  • Prepare and assist in delivering reports and presentations to advise and make recommendations to LCS leadership on financial and analytical results and opportunities .
  • Implement financial processes and reports to maximize the quality of financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Serve as a key contributor to the corporate budget and forecast process. Develop guidance and track completion of key milestones in the process. 
  • Collaborate with other business lines and functional support groups regarding finance activities impacting each division through the allocation process.
  • Review monthly results with comparison to budgets and propose adjustments to journal entries.
  • Partner with director leader and other key stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement to department skills and knowledge, processes and efficiencies.
  • Assist with the development, implementation, maintenance and utilization of new or enhanced systems, models and tools. 
  • Assist co-workers with overloads as time permits, training new co-workers, and contributing to team projects. 
  • Support continuous improvement of financial models for "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions. 
  • Conduct conditional compensation calculations, methodology, and strategy for various aspects of operations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Leadership and cross-functional collaboration
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, macros, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications Word, PowerPoint, etc.
