The Production Supervisor (Onsite) is responsible for managing the overall production activities within the organization. This role involves leading a team of production professionals, developing and implementing production procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Production Supervisor conducts regular audits, reviews production data, and collaborates with other departments to address production issues and drive continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include managing production documentation, providing training and development opportunities for staff, and reporting on production performance to senior management.
Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:
- Provide guidance and direction to production team
- Lead and motivate team to meet production goals
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
- Identify and address any issues or conflicts within the team
Production Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and implement production schedules
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow
- Analyze production data and make recommendations for improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve any production related issues
Quality Control:
- Ensure products meet company quality standards
- Conduct quality inspections and audits
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures
- Address any quality issues or concerns in a timely manner
Budget and Cost Management:
- Monitor and control production costs
- Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Prepare and track production budgets
- Make recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.
Communication and Reporting:
- Communicate production updates and issues to upper management
- Provide regular reports on production progress and performance
- Coordinate with other departments for product launches or changes
- Maintain open and clear communication with production team members.

- Understand team dynamics and effective management practices. Supervisors should be adept at balancing individual tasks with overseeing team performance.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering (Automotive, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering) or a related field with at least 4 years experience, with at least 1 year experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
