We are seeking a Product Owner with a strong academic credentials and real-world experience in NLP and contract analytics to lead our Contract and Content Analytics team. The successful candidate will lead a talented, diverse team that has consistently delivered innovative, impactful solutions. The candidate will be responsible for defining product strategy and establishing an analytical framework for implementing and assessing NLP solutions for a variety of applications. 

Responsibilities: 

• Define and execute the product vision and strategy for Contract and Content analytics solutions. 
• Develop and lead the implementation of solutions leveraging LLMs that can assist in various analytical tasks, such as document summarization, contract review and document generation. 
• Build and manage a team of AI engineers and data scientists to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of LLM-based solutions. 
• Set up an analytical framework to assess the effectiveness and impact of NLP solutions on contract analytics and establish a methodology to measure success. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business, engineering, data science, and design, to prioritize and deliver product features and enhancements that improve the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of contract analytics. 
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors, to stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to NLP and contract analytics. 
• Develop and maintain partnerships with industry experts and academia to expand our capabilities. 
• Oversee the development of large training datasets, data preprocessing pipelines, and testing frameworks 
• Publishing papers, articles and other media to represent Verisk in industry forums and publications 

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product management or related field, preferably in the legal and/or insurance industry. 
• Masters degree in Technology, PhD preferred 
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience with NLP technology and implementing analytical frameworks. 
• Experience with AI platform software and hardware ecosystem in one or more: Deep Learning Frameworks, Large Language Models, Generative AI, Cloud 
• Experience with contract analytics or similar domains. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. 
• Proven track record of developing and launching successful products that meet customer needs and drive business results. 
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements in the P&C insurance industry would be a plus 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
