Position Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) Point Mugu, CA

Pay Rate: The annual salary range for this position is $126,000 - $174,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RTL Networks considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Summary:

RTL Networks has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer. This position will focus on critical aspects of a given program and perform many functional duties independently. The Senior Electrical Engineer will oversee the efforts of Journeyman and/or Junior staff.

Primary Responsibilities:

Essential responsibilities of the Senior Electrical Engineer include, but are not limited to:

• Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use.
• Experience with board design for RF analysis and modulation.
• Experience with FPGA/PLD design.
• Experience with troubleshooting, maintaining, upgrading and testing existing electronic circuit cards.
• Experience with designing new multi-layer Printed Wiring Boards (PCB)s.
• Experience with digital and analog circuit design.
• Writing and debugging firmware for new products.
• Experience developing and working with VME based backplanes and PCBs.
• Experience working with Real Time Embedded systems.
• Tools: Mentor Graphics PADS, Cadence OrCAD PCB Designer Suite, MAX+PLUS II, Quartus.

Qualifications:

• BSEE/MSEE with a minimum of 10 years' experience.
• Secret clearance.
