Head Coach - Varsity Girls Basketball

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a High School Head Girls Basketball Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coaching our high school basketball team, helping them develop their skills, and achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive baseball program for the high school girls team
• Plan and lead daily practices, game-day strategies, develop scouting reports
• Provide individualized coaching and feedback to players to help them improve their skills
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes sportsmanship and teamwork
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school staff
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all players during practices and games
• Attend all team meetings, practices, and games
• Possess a K-12 mindset to develop a school wide program
• Conduct pre-season trainings, conditioning sessions, and open gyms
• Host summer camps and workouts
• Develop an offseason training program for 9-12 grade players

Requirements

• Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school or collegiate level.
• Strong technical and tactical skill set to develop a varsity level program
• Experience evaluating assistant coaches is recommended
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire players.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Administration and members of the coaching staff.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
