Job Description:

The DCX Client Services Home-Based Estimator will assist our client’s team in reading plans, creating take-offs, and providing cost estimates for countertop fabrication and installation. Additionally, once estimates are sold, the Estimator will assist the project managers in executing the job. Knowledge of construction materials and methods used in the restaurant/retail/theater/healthcare industry is preferred.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

• Prepare and deliver bids for Goodall Distributors projects; review and approve contracts won; interface with customers to proactively solve issues to drive project to completion.  

• Develop cost-effective budgets, solicitation of project bids, and identification of resources needed.  

• Review all architectural and engineering drawings to ensure all specifications and regulations are being followed. Develop a schedule for completion of the project.  

• Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which includes owners, architects, and consultants. Reports to owners and architects about progress and any necessary modifications of plans.  

• Responsible for proper administration of construction contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits, and licenses.  

• Selects and coordinates work of subcontractors, devises project work plan/scope of work, and makes revisions as and when the need arises, ensures that construction activity moves according to pre-determined schedule.  

• Project accounting functions include managing the budget and tracking expenses and associated costs to achieve completion of the project.  

• Prepare change order pricing for ongoing project work when required. 

• Provide shop drawings as needed for customers' specific projects. 

• Other duties as assigned. 

WHAT WE LOOK FOR 

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a related discipline or equivalent work experience.

• Experience: 5 years of experience assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity. 

• Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills. 

• Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.  

• Technical Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency including Outlook, Word, and strong Excel. Having AutoCAD, and On-Screen Takeoff software is a must.

• Industry-Specific Software/Knowledge:   

• Strong knowledge of commercial construction project installations. Sound knowledge of engineering design principles 

• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people to achieve maximum efficiency. 

• Effective time management and logical decision-making ability. 

• Excellent client management and customer service skills. 

• Good numeracy and computer skills 

• Strong attention to detail 

WHAT WE OFFER 

• Salary Range: Php 47,000 - Php 52,000
