About the role

Description

The Assistant Director of Adult and Graduate Enrollment - Online Programs is responsible for strategic recruitment and admissions for adult undergraduate and graduate students pursuing online degree programs and workforce development certificates. This role requires advanced expertise in data analysis, goal setting, and recruitment strategy development, as well as the ability to foster and maintain corporate partnerships to support recruitment efforts. The Assistant Director also serves as a resource and leader within the admissions team, providing mentorship and guidance to colleagues.

Duties and Responsibilities 

Strategic Recruitment and Enrollment Management 

  • Work with the Director to develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies for assigned online academic programs and workforce development certificates, ensuring alignment with institutional enrollment goals. 

  • Analyze recruitment and enrollment data to identify trends, assess performance, and adapt strategies to meet or exceed goals. 

  • Set measurable enrollment goals and track progress, adjusting tactics as needed to achieve desired outcomes. 

Partnership Development 

  • Rebuild and maintain existing industry partnerships to enhance recruitment efforts for online programs. 

  • Identify, establish, and nurture new industry partnerships to create pipelines of prospective students. 

  • Collaborate with employers and organizations to promote workforce development opportunities through Cedar Crest College’s online programs. 

Admissions Counseling and Communication 

  • Provide admissions counseling to prospective students, assessing educational and career goals to recommend appropriate programs. 

  • Represent the College at on- and off-campus recruitment events, virtual information sessions, and corporate partnership meetings. 

Team Leadership and Collaboration 

  • Serve as a resource and mentor to admissions team members, offering guidance on best practices, problem-solving, and strategic planning. 

  • Lead special projects, including event planning and updates to recruitment materials. 

Application Review and Financial Aid Support 

  • Review applications for admission, interpret and apply College standards and policies, and make recommendations for acceptance or denial. 

  • Counsel prospective students on funding options, including financial aid and scholarship opportunities. 

Administrative Responsibilities 

  • Maintain accurate records of prospective student interactions and recruitment activities within the admissions CRM system. 

  • Continuously monitor and improve processes to enhance efficiency and student satisfaction. 

  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

Education and Training 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required; advanced degree preferred. 

  • Experience in recruiting for online education programs or workforce development certificates in a higher education setting is highly preferred. 

  • Demonstrated experience providing exceptional customer service.  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and create actionable recruitment strategies. 

  • Proven success in developing and maintaining corporate partnerships. 

  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to inspire and guide team members. 

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. 

  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond to changing needs and challenges. 

  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to prospective students, corporate partners, and internal stakeholders.  

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions 

  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment. 

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
