About the role

Job Purpose and FunctionAs a member of the Talent and People Operations team, the Manager of Retail Operations Training is an integral part in driving the guest experience, team culture and quality of Dash In and Splash In retail locations. The Manager of Retail Operations Training will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs across all retail locations for Store Managers, Supervisors and Team Members. This role will ensure that team members at all levels receive effective training to enhance performance, drive guest satisfaction, and support business growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail operations, training, driving operational results, and a passion for developing people. How You’ll Make an Impact Training Strategy & Development:

Develop and execute a comprehensive retail training strategy aligned with business goals and brand standards

Design and implement training documentation for store operational processes, team members and managers.

Continuously assess training needs to ensure relevancy and effectiveness.

Training Implementation & Delivery:

Manage and execute New Store Opening training.

Execute other Retail training as needed including Onboarding, LTO Train the Trainers, Genuine Care, Rewards and new operational initiatives.

Develop and utilize a mix of in-person, job aids and videos to maximize impact.

Partner with regional and store leadership teams to ensure content is consistent with operational needs and goals.

Performance & Compliance:

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through KPIs, feedback, and performance assessments.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Provide coaching and mentorship to Regional Training Managers, Training Store Managers and Certified Trainers.

Perform Certified Training Store visits as needed to ensure quality training environments

Collaboration & Leadership:

Work across HQ functions to identify Retail training needs collaborate on creating training content that will result in successful implementation of functional initiatives.

Work closely with TPO, Operations, and Store Leadership to align training initiatives with business priorities.

Lead a team of Senior Regional Trainers, providing day-to day guidance and professional development.

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in retail training and employee development.

Partner with HQ Support staff and Retail Area Leaders to determine training needs

What We’re Looking For Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years hands-on training in fast-casual or full- service restaurant/key facilitation skills
Minimum of 2 years of non-classroom training facilitation (such as running a training store, on the job training, etc.)
At least 1 year of administrative duties that included: following up + responding to email, attending conference calls, basic use of word/excel
Knowledge of the theory and application of adult learning methods and demonstrated ability to “energize” a training classroom and ensure knowledge transfer using powerful, motivating, and effective presentations.
Must be a detail-oriented self-starter who is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done right. Must excel at taking initiative, following through, handling a variety of responsibilities, staying focused with rapidly changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in a timely manner
Experience using learning and training technology to deliver multiple learning modalities
Ability to meet deadlines and complete work under limited supervision
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Psychology, or Human Resources; equivalent relevant progressive experience and a minimum of high school diploma will also be considered.
