The Commercial Banker III is a key member of our lending team, responsible for originating, managing, and supervising a commercial loan portfolio typically ranging from $50 million to $75 million. This role involves actively monitoring the portfolio to drive asset growth while maintaining strong credit quality. The position encompasses the full lifecycle of commercial lending, including loan administration, servicing, and collection, as well as the development of new business through existing client relationships and prospective outreach. The Commercial Banker III is expected to perform or oversee all duties related to credit granting, such as loan monitoring, portfolio management, and file maintenance. A critical aspect of the role is assessing and managing risk within the portfolio to protect the bank’s interests. This individual ensures full compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations while contributing to the bank’s mission of helping customers achieve more than they could on their own.
 

Qualified candidates will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting and 10 to 15 years of commercial lending experience or equivalent experience and education is required.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships.
• The ability to gather related financial and business information and perform financial analyses is needed to make credit decisions.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and a strong partnership with internal and external partners.
• The drive to develop a growing network of outside referral sources for new business.
• Proficient computer skills and business software experience.
• Comply with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal banking regulations.

The full-time annualized starting salary range for this position is $112,700 - $169,200, contingent on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation.
