As a Principal Designer, you will play a key role in creating high-impact, engaging, and polished user experiences. You will collaborate closely with a dynamic team of designers, content designers, researchers, and full-stack engineers. Using your design expertise, you will swiftly and collaboratively bring innovative ideas from inception to execution. Having experience and understanding of the AI world is crucial for this role. As we integrate advanced AI technologies into our products, it is essential to comprehend the capabilities and limitations of AI to design effective and intuitive user experiences.

Your day to day:

In your day-to-day you will:

• Partner with cross-functional teams (design system, engineering, and product management) to deliver PayPal products and services using a customer-focused, iterative design process, contributing to planning, estimation, and expectation setting.  
• Create high-quality design deliverables independently, managing work to meet product design goals and schedules.  
• Leverage and enhance established design techniques, tools, and methodologies to create product design analyses and solutions, while also contributing to the adaptation and optimization of these resources.  
• Fosters collaboration, drives design team excellence and may lead or mentor other designers.  
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on user experiences, working closely with the team to craft user-centric solutions that integrate design and engineering effectively, prioritizing beauty and usability.

What do you need to bring:

• 10+ years of design experience with a strong po
