Job Summary/Description:

Multimedia Sales Assistant (Media Executive Training Path). Western Mass News (ABC 40, CBS3, Fox6) is seeking an organized, resourceful, detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to our sales team. Qualified candidates must be able to assist with all aspects of sales to help achieve maximum bookings. Successful candidates should have a positive attitude, excellent time management, and organizational and communication skills combined with proven skills with Microsoft Office Products. This position will also be designed to be a training program with a path to becoming a Media Executive (salesperson) after 1-year in the position. Applicants must be willing to transition into a Media Executive position within 1-year.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

- Assist the Director of Sales and Sales Staff with their daily duties.
- Assist in the development of sales proposals, marketing materials, reports, and client presentations.
- Coordinate digital ads and upload them to the platform.
- Efficiently work with the team/management to deliver a high level of service.
- Create digital reports and track digital campaigns.
- Track progress on various sales initiatives.
- Assist in the handling of resolving billing discrepancies.
- Ability to perform at a high level, multitask efficiently, and meet deadlines in this fast-paced environment.
- Input and maintain select orders for Account Executives, including revisions.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements: 

- Strong computer skills with attention to detail is essential
- Functional knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook
- Ability to complete tasks quickly and efficiently
- Proficient communication skills
- Work independently and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of WideOrbit software is a plus, but willing to train
