This is a multi-faceted Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) position, working in support of Special Programs. You will help develop, administer, and maintain a comprehensive security program in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. You will be required to routinely work with all levels of management and government customers. You will be a self-starter and team player with the
ability to develop and implement solutions to a variety of complex problems
This position will require that you are well organized with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks daily and effectively re-prioritize tasks when required as well as have excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
What You Will Do
- Understand, implement and ensure compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 - NISPOM Rule, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related Industrial Security Guidance Manuals or Special Program Security directives.
- Develop, submit for approval, and implement security policies, procedures, and documentation specific to the program such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Security Plans, Operation Security (OPSEC) Plans, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), etc.
- Conduct self-inspections and participate in Government Inspections, and recommend /implement corrective actions as required.
- Create, update, and conduct various security briefings, training, and debriefings.
- Maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers, peers, and senior management across multiple sites and business units.
- Investigate security incidents and prepare written reports
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Program Security
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Min of five years of experience in Program Security including Personnel Security, Physical/Technical Security, Information Assurance, COMSEC, and Security Awareness Training and Education
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Qualifications We Prefer
- Security related certification and training
- Experience with DISS and Access Commander databases
