The Data Team needs a Senior Data Analyst to help us deploy our data strategy and bring data to the next level.</p><p>She/He will be part of our BI &amp; Data Science team, already composed of six colleagues and managed by the Lead BI &amp; Data Science.</p><p>The Senior Data Analyst is someone who knows how to identify business issues and find a way to answer them based on data. You will be responsible, accompanied by the Data Team, for improving the data analytics offer. On one hand, performing functional analysis means that you are able to speak the finance, marketing and compliance language. On the other hand, you should be technically capable to perform data transformations and computations at software development scale.</p><p>The first mission of the Senior Data Analyst is to maintain and add new features to an automatic process handled by the Data Team that answers a challenging finance need.<br/>  </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><u>Technical Requirements:</u></p><ul><li>Identify and create a synergy between the different data sources in the company</li><li>Continuously improve and enhance the performance, quality, capabilities, and functional coverage of analytics solutions</li><li>Develop and execute database queries and conduct analysis</li><li>Prepare data, realize tests and perform data validations to ensure the respect of the quality and security requirements</li><li>Work with other data team members to ensure Python development best practices and methodologies</li></ul><p><u>Functional Requirements:</u></p><ul><li>Conduct research and analysis in order to come up with solutions to data business problems</li><li>Understanding client needs and being able to translate them to data analyses or new data projects</li><li>Experience delivering complex product in a corporate environment</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><u>Experience:</u></p><ul><li>3+ years Data Analytics/Data Engineering experience (business performance oriented)</li></ul><p><u>Required skills:</u></p><ul><li>Skills of working with data: gathering, preparation, data quality evaluation and monitoring</li><li>Strong technical skills of Big Data ecosystems and ability to program in SQL and Python/PySpark</li><li>Versioning with Git and strong interest for software development</li><li>Ability to work in an international environment</li></ul><p><u>Nice to have:</u></p><ul><li>AWS experience</li><li>Software development best practices (CI/CD, unit testing, etc.)</li><li>Ability to work with Linux systems</li><li>Ability to work with agile methodologies (JIRA, sprints, ceremonies)</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Hiring Process</strong></p><ul><li>HR call</li><li>Interview with a Data Analyst and a Data Engineer</li><li>Interview with our CTO</li><li>Informal team meeting</li></ul><p><em>Interested in this position?
