PURPOSE:

Under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Enterprise Application Services (EAS), the Security Business Analyst provides application security, system maintenance, business process analysis, and project management support for the OASIS Student Information System (Oracle/PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.2).  Working closely with End-Users,  Analysts, and IT Programmers, the Security Business Analyst will focus on maximizing the use of systems and applications.

The Security Business Analyst will be expected to independently and efficiently support the entire IT project systems development life cycle and apply industry standard methods (i.e. International Institute of Business Analysts (IIBA)) or Project Management Institute (PMI)) to ensure successful delivery of new/modified applications that follow industry standard frameworks for Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from initiation, planning, analysis, design, development, test and implementation to maintaining systems/applications and supporting continuous improvement and data integrity efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
