Not just because it is right – but because it is better business. </p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>The Project Management unit in IT is responsible for managing all IT and digitalisation projects in Statkraft. The unit is also responsible for test management, the IT Project Management Office (PMO), and promotion of corporate wide innovation by utilizing IT and digitalisation. </p><p>IT and digital solutions plays a critical role along Statkraft entire value chain. Our solutions and services are critical for information gathering, analysis, exploration, production planning, monitoring, sales etc. IT is also important in safeguarding our operations. Our solutions are rapidly becoming more sophisticated and interdependent. Based on the characteristics of our business, we develop many of our business-critical systems ourselves. </p><p>The <strong>Senior Project Manager </strong>will join the Project Management unit in IT. The unit currently consists of >15 experienced project managers in Oslo and Düsseldorf who serve in projects across all Business Areas and the top management team as customers. </p><p>As a <strong>Senior Project Manager</strong> in the Project Management unit, you will: </p><ul><li>Deliver solutions for today’s IT and digitalization challenges of a major player in the renewable energy industry </li><li>Be responsible for planning, controlling and execution of complex business-critical IT / Digitalisation projects (mainly in the areas around Energy Management, Energy Trading and Origination, Enterprise Architecture, Finance and Risk Management and Regulatory Reporting). </li><li>Secure and enable collaboration within the project team that is staffed with colleagues from different units within IT and the business side – towards the joint goal to deliver valuable results, supported by our different project models </li><li>Work closely with project owners and key stakeholders maximizing business value through IT and digital solutions </li><li>Be a team player supporting, collaborating and contribute for an inspiring working environment with the rest of the project management team, sharing your skills and experiences to raise the team performance and its capabilities </li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>We are looking for candidates who are high performing individuals with drive, high ethical standards, and with a clear “can do” attitude. We believe this includes: </p><ul><li>Strong communication skills and talent for building network and trusted relationships </li><li>Higher education at university level or equivalent (Master’s degree or equivalent) </li><li>Several years of experience in managing business critical IT and digitalization projects from consulting companies or similar roles in global industrial companies </li><li>Experience from managing projects within one or several competence areas like software development, M&A, cloud, integration, cyber security, acquire and implementation etc. </li><li>Strong communication capabilities and talent for building network and trusted relationships </li><li>Interest in green energy, technology, and curiosity about people and their motives </li><li>Fluency in English and German </li><li>Preferably experience in agile IT project management methods – Kanban, Scrum, SAFe, etc. </li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>A career with Statkraft is a career filled with purpose – meaning that every employee is not just making a living, they are making a real difference to the planet, our communities and the future. The applicant must be eligible for security clearance and authorisation. </p><p>The position is located at Statkraft office in Düsseldorf, Germany.
