Job Description

AECOM/Hunt Construction is seeking an experienced structural Sr. Superintendent for our exciting construction project in Las Vegas. 

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Accountable and overall responsibility for on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects.
  • Leads, directs, and manages the entire direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project.
  • Primary Liaison with client for day-to-day activities and long-term operations.
  • Communicates and directs through other superintendents' changes or modification of jobsite activities within assigned area of operations.
  • Accountable for compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
  • Primary interface and engagement with Project Executive and manager group to coordinate efforts.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement:

  • BA/BS relevant curriculum and 10 years of construction experience or AA/AS and 12 years of relevant experience or HS/GED and 14 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience in the coordination of jobsite logistics and subcontractor coordination.
  • Experience in project sequencing, estimating and cost control.
  • Experience in construction project safety and compliance; OSHA 10.
  • Prior Superintendent/Project Management construction experience in structural steel erection and construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents; reviewing drawings and specifications to identify construction requirements.
  • Knowledge of welding and iron working construction protocols.
  • Experience in construction projects in hospitality, sports complex or similar construction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Offered rate of compensation for Las Vegas, NV will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $106,800.34 - $197,580.63 annually.
