Job Description:

Position Description: 

Develops Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using Blue Prism. Utilizes PL/SQL and Python to design and develop optimal database solutions. Translates business requirements into dashboards and reports solutions, implements them within Tableau and Power BI, and publishes them on the Tableau server. Provides business solutions by developing complex software applications.  

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.  

• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.  

• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.  

• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation. 

• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing. 

• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.  

• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. 

• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. 

• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project. 

• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. 

Education and Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Data Science and Analytics, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) implementing and supporting financial services applications and mid-tier services using Blue Prism, Power BI, Tableau, SQL Server, C#, and VBA.  

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Data Science and Analytics, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) implementing and supporting financial services applications and mid-tier services using Blue Prism, Power BI, Tableau, SQL Server, C#, and VBA. 

Skills and Knowledge: 

Candidate must also possess: 

• Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) developing and maintaining Blue Prism infrastructure by maintaining the health of Blue Prism production, UAT, development application servers, runtime resources, and interactive clients; regularly coordinating and upgrading Blue Prism environments, including detailed planning and execution, to ensure the compatibility of all processes and objects; performing thorough testing phases in a sandbox environment; and coordinating with stakeholders to schedule upgrades during maintenance windows to minimize downtime.   

• DE integrating RPA processes with DevOps tools and SQL databases: efficiently develop an automated process to interact with OLEDB when pulling data from Excel documents, by writing SQL queries and temporarily converting the Excel table into a relational database; developing Blue Prism processes to integrate with Workflow tools using REST API, enabling data scanned by the mail team to be read by OCR software and updated in the AS400 mainframe tool; developing a Blue Prism process that triggers Jenkins jobs by passing custom SQL stored procedures based on business logic using Blue Prism Skill (Integ
